A cracking morning to be out on the bikes. Dry, fast flowing trails. Competing were S1 legend Barry Van K, S2 rider John S, S3 riders Brian W and Paul M and S4 rider John McG. I do believe John McG was winning until he was denied by a puncture.  Also there was Emlyn, Stephanie along with Ryan and Luke. Ben and Kelly were there too with Kelly also suffering a puncture. Newcomers today was David, Wannita, Bradley, Karter and Lexie. I also had my two there as well. We had great fun taking our time to tackle the features of this trail. We were all starting to get the hang of the course as well as that final water splash!! Super course, many thanks to Brian and Paul for this.  |

i dont think i was winning Martin, despite taking a few shortcuts, but am pretty sure i would have got a top 20.
fantastic course and a great day out, can't wait to get back again

Round 2 of the club league scheduled for this sunday has been moved to Tuesday the 22nd to avoid clashing with the Super Sunday leisure ride.

FYI
For any youth or beginner men or women, there will be an escorted spin around the course taking time to tackle the various natural trail obstacles.

Really good night last night. Brilliant to see so many kids and new faces every week.
A really tough race, I've yet to catch my dangling carrot in the form of John S, even with Hopalong Montgomery upping the pace for me (and subsequently dropping me... twice)

Hi there, myself and a new club member Andrew were thinking of trying out some of the events in the Club MTB league later in the year for the craic, the prob is we dont know the trails in DK at all  + were wondering if any of the Club Mtb enthusiasts would be available this Sat(May 3rd) anytime from 2pm onwards to take us round DK for a gentle spin? Any help would be greatly appreciated.  |

Boys should be congregating round the upper carpark about 10:15 and down round the bridge with turrets (name escapes me right now) at round half 10
