Good day at the Bobby Crilly race. A3s had 3 laps of a 13/14 mile circuit to do before heading up through Dundrod and onto finish at the top of Divis mountain. The heavy rain started about 5 minutes into our race and never stopped the whole race, brilliant Tony and Ronnie were riding strong all day, with Ronnie getting into a few breaks. Nathan was unlucky to pull in because of the rain rain and cold, he had sense than any of us! I missed the the last lap as I lost the feeling in my fingers, so just jumped into the front bunch of the A4s and rode with them to Divis. Race was won by Mark Downey with Tony finishing 6th/8th (result TBC). We had a good crowd in the A4s. Ryan Mullen, Conor Rice, Jonny McBride, Dave Hawthorne and Graeme Craft (?)! were riding strong all day with all of them in the main bunch of the race. Ryan and Jonny Jonny were in the front group going onto Divis with Jonny getting a mechanical near the top, and Ryan I think finished in top 20. Conor as next with with Dave and Graeme not far behind. I think the scratch group will be big on Thursday night!
