As you are hopefully aware Dromara CC are putting on a road race on Saturday 8 June 2013. This year we are using Bishopscourt motorcycle circuit.
From what we have looked at we need 17 volunteers to make this work.
Job rolls.
2 for the front gate (to stream the racers off to a separate car park)
2 for the car parking (to make sure the parking is done correctly)
2 for each side of the track crossing point (4 in total to control traffic [people and cars] going into the middle area)
3 timekeepers
2 motorcycle outriders (Noel and Ivan have stepped up to do this).
4 on the sign on table.
We have electronic timing coming so the timekeeper's job will be reduced a little in importance.
17 is much better than the 50+ we needed to run the open race at the Annahilt circuit.

Chris and I went down to Bishopscourt last Friday evening. Super set up down there. Hopefully this will be a great success for the club. Riders to park in the middle section of the track. For those who are planning on racing we need you to prepare sandwiches and bring them with you. Requirements:2 loaves, one white one brown At least 2 different fillings. Only make tuna sandwiches if your first name is Stephen! light mayo wrapped in bunches of 4 / 6 first with cling film and then in tin foil. Please keep the sandwiches cool |

As agreed with Chris I will happily help out with the course crossing point. I can help with sign on too if required and anything else bar time keeping ;D
