Tonight is the circuit time trial around the Annahilt triangle. We start from the garden centre on the road between Annahilt and Ballynahinch (see map maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=117-121+Lisburn+Rd,+Ballynahinch,+Lisburn+BT26+6,+UK&daddr=Lisburn+Rd+to:Ballykeel+Rd+to:Glebe+Rd+to:Ballynahinch+Rd&hl=en&ll=54.432612,-5.959396&spn=0.051622,0.109692&sll=54.411307,-5.914727&sspn=0.001614,0.003428&geoc). There are 3 locations that need marshals. The first turn needs 2, the second turn 3 and the cross roads 4. We also need 2 timekeepers. A big ask. Post or text me if you can help out. So far I have 1. Well done to everyone tonight, especially conor and tommy d, flying boys!!! On a different note, well done to those who stepped up to marshall, when it was obvious there were not enough to run the event safely. There seems to be some confusion about the marshalling this year, although there were plenty of new faces for the TT tonight, I have not saw too many names going up on the board as regards events? Especially this Sunday which is rather a big test event for Dromara CC. As anyone who reads the message board will know, Martin has been trying in vain all week to get club members to volunteer their time this weekend at the Mtb race in Rostrevor. So far the only names I have seen are the usual suspects who always seem to turn up and help out at various events, be it MTB, CX or Road races.
Guys, Dromara CC is a big club, so one day a year to help out isn't asking too much is it? These events do not run themselves and without the invaluable time and effort of Martin and his family, well who knows.....?? So basically the message is get your fingers out and help out the club we all like to participate in.

Well said GB. We are great at charity work, and they say charity begins at home lets support DCC at this years biggest MTB festival in Rostrevor! Think of those poor mountainbikers with their piddly 32t rings, nobbly tyres, baggy shorts... They dont even have drop bars, aero helmets or tight lycra... n the mountains no one can hear you scream.... But it doesn't have to be like that... Pledge just one day this weekend and together We can make a difference!
