Round 3 - 2 up TT

The first of the 2 up time trials will take place on Thursday night in Hillsborough (out near the hockey club). This is a one way event, 8 miles straight (hope someone has told the wind!!).

We will need timekeepers at both ends and a few marshals.

John S has volunteered so far.

Time would be useful Martin (6.30pm or 7.00pm)?

Are we not putting together a marshalling rota this year?

Sign on from: 6:30
Start at 7:00 (or earlier if numbers are not big)
Parking: It has been suggested competitors park in Annahilt then cycle to Hillsborough as a warm up. The time trial goes from Hillsborough to Ballynahinch. Warm down cycle back to Annahilt to pick up your car. Alternatively use parking near the hockey club. In any case we don't want too many cars in Governors Gate.

I'd like a marshal rota set out for this year. Feel free to provide me with 4 dates. Everyone else will then clamour to provide me with theirs as well

Thanks to Martin, Fritz, John, Brendan, Malcolm and Tony. Another cold, wet and windy night. Well done to the guys under 16 mins and a great run by Gary and Tommy on road bikes. Definitely a lot more fun without a turn and the wind behind us!

Oh, and there was an umbrella left behind at the Lurgan Road event last week.
