Results  The course was great, I took a few wrong turns on the first lap but started to nail the sections on the next 2 laps. Half a lap to go and I puncture  Hey ho, that's racing. Many thanks Peter for timekeeping. |

Hard luck Martin on the puncture, maybe you should look into a tubeless solution?!
Cheers to Peter for Time keeping.
Great race with the local superstar there last night. He was only going at 70% at most and even waited on me on lap 3 when I dropped the chain. Good wee battle again near the end. Freakishly strong child though and there was no cutting him off into the last section!
I would also just like to point out that a new course record was set. And it wasn't Monty who set it :-)

I think Ive picked up at least 5 "punctures " this year, but the sealant has plugged them all. So definately worth considering MG, none of the punctures I would have known about if I hadn't looked for them! On another note I let Monty passed me on the first climb... Its called "MATESMANSHIP." I offerd John passed but he was OK to wait a minute. Everyone else passed me within about a minute anyway  When is the next round? Cheers Peter for timekeeping. |

I managed to pick up 3 punctures last night. Went for a spin round the old course... Had to get off a lot due to trees down. Will always bring my bag with me now. Was a long walk back to the car.....
Thanks Martin for the head net... No bites today. Unlucky for the guys who didn't finish last night.
