We might as well hit the tow path tonight. Heavy snow due tomorrow. MISSING - the season of spring. If found please let us know where it was hiding !!

New guy Graham with us last night. We didn't make a great initial impression with Kyle having to remove his rear pads as he couldn't get his wheel to turn round and me forgetting my front light (I remembered the battery!!). Garry at least was there with a fully functioning bike.
They set off just after 7. I drove home again to get my light, parked at Lambeg and then took off after them. Strong head wind but thankfully a dry path. The guys had kindly waited at the footbridge for me. All over and headed towards the Ring. Garry out front leading the way up the climbs. I was busted! I haven't been on the bike since last Thursday.
I managed to recover in time for the sprint across the Ring. Graham gave us a countdown, Garry went on '1' not waiting for 'go'. Disqualified! In reality the race came down to me and Kyle. I managed to pip him to the finish "gate".
Down through Ronan's way to Minnowburn then onto Shaw's then into the trees. Nice quick run through here and then headed for Vomit Ridge. Garry and I riding side-by-side. Near the top Garry went for the win and got it.
We then took in the loop around the car park. I made Garry go in front after he got lost around here last week!!
Back to the path we skipped the Meadows. Headed for Shaw's and then up Cardiac hill. Still tough. We then took the same path we did last week popping out at Mary Peter's. We headed past the BMX jumps which have seen more work done to them this week.
A quick run home with Garry pulling away from the rest of us. I exited at Lambeg. I'm not sure who won the sprint home. Well done to Graham who kept up easily.

Wouldn't exactly say I kept up easily Martin, but just happy to make it round without holding you up too much. Very enjoyable first experience of off-road riding at night, despite the cold conditions and not being able to see where I was going half the time
