Alan, Bobby and I set off after 7 pm. Alan hasn't been out with us for months and he was feeling it. Bobby left us at the footbridge. Alan lead us around the path towards Minnowburn. On the section that we met Mark F last week Alan started to have chain problems just like Mark last week. Uncanny. Chain break ridge. Alan walked to Shaw's bridge while I sprinted back to Lisburn to pick up my car to drive to Shaw's to pick up Alan and then back to Lisburn. I got a good work out on that sprint back. Not as fast as last week though  The evening was good, cold but thankfully no frost. Hopefully more out next week. |
