Hope I can make it this week. Made enough brownie points last weekend to last 6 months. ;D Might try the route we did in the summer down towards Poyntzpass and stop at Scarva for coffee. Got lost last time so hope we get it right this time.

Jeeez Louise, Davey, you could nearly go out tomorrow and not come home til Wednesday!!! You woudn't get lost around Scarva, Poyntzpass, not with a local like me there! Hope to be out with yourself, Jim and Co. if it's dry in the morning. I take it you're meeting in Dromara at 10??

Jeeez Louise, Bernadette, I'd rather get lost than ice skating on a bike. ;D Just 3 out Sunday, Bernie,Bredan and myself. Lovely day, blue skies not a drop of frost in sight!!! Headed out the Gall Bog Rd and then down the Flough Rd. This is when we seen the first drop of frost... just the odd patch, nothing to worry about. ::)Cross the Castlewellan Rd an down the Drone Hill Rd. Turned the bend on to the bridge and my front wheel slid about 3 feet, Bernie did the same but Bredan came down like a ton of Sh*********T. The road was a sheet of ice... could hardly walk. Managed to get Bredan off the road but could not ride a bike.. looked like a broken collar bone. He was obviously in a lot of pain. Many thanks to the guy who was out walking his dog who took Bredan back home. Last report was that it was a cracked/chipped bone but will be in a sling for a few weeks. Katesbridge area is off my list. Seems they get frost even in summer!!

Yes, it was strictly come dancing on ice alright, but could've been so much worse. It's definitely been confirmed that he has a chip on his shoulder (I'M SAYIN NOTHIN')!!! ;D Fairly minor injury, back at work today, sling and all. The wee man who very kindly brought Brendan home was Trevor from Banbridge. Isn't this a great we country when strangers will help you out like that. We're always shown in the media as fightin with each other over flags and all sorts, but there's no better people anywhere to help you out when you're in a tight spot then here in Norn Iron

I am glad to have missed all the action, seeing Brenden in that position again would be off putting. Really glad his injury is of a minor nature. Rather drastic measure to avoid being Chef at Xmas . keep chin up.
