Roads were icy last night was spinning a few times would think it should be the same tonight.

Just Kyle and I out last night. Colin, Davy and Marty McA were almost there but last minute had to pull out.
Great night. Dry, no wind, chilly but not frosty. Nice run down to the footbridge. Quick burst on the other side. Kept up the speed around the Giant's Ring. Great views over Belfast. Down Ronan's route back to Minnowburn. Down through Shaw's and into the trees. On the climb my chain jumps and I came to an abrupt stop. Chain ok, changed down, jumped again. Suspect chain stretch. Took it easy on the climbs after that. Light spinning up Vomit Hill, easy back into the car park after the loop. Skipped the Meadows as it could have meant disaster. Onto Cardiac and I just spun the legs lightly to get up it. Nice drop down through the trees. Spotted two other cyclists out. Good steady pace home. No sprint, no point, only the two of us anyway.
This is a really good run. We do suspect that people have forgotten how much fun this run is.
Hope to see more faces out next week.
