Travelled down to the Fixx supercross round on sunday past there, in search of a quick fix to the disaster at moira. Went with JoeH and AlexD from Phoenix, they even let me wear the dromara jersey in the car. Good lads!
Had a good race, wasn't gridded obviously as it was my first appearance in the series, but got away on a decent enough start and made my way through the field on the first few laps. The pace was relentless, easily the fastest course I have raced yet. Strangely there were no dismount sections but some technical and "spongy" whoops up and down through a wooded section.
Ended up 13th which I was very happy with. The field was very strong and nobody was giving an inch even down in those placings.
Anyway - Here is some footage of lap 4 where I had made it up to this strong bunch of guys and had to tussle with them for a lap to try and push on. They never let me out of sight though and it made for a savage hard push for the remaining 5 laps. Great training.
