Depends on if you want to go on the A run at 9:30 or B run at 10 Lisa, either way you'll have a good day The A run is usually back at 12:30/1 o'clock.

Is the A run crazy fast? Wouldn't mind giving it a try.

Not crazy fast at all...just a steady run...16-18 av....good time to start you should be fine.

Deek what sort of distance were u thinking of + will it b a hilly route? I was thinking of headin out in the 9.30 group as i have family plans in the afternoon. I could hang in on a flat(ish) 16mph run but def couldnt survive an 18mph hilly one!

Think there was 9 out this morning in Dromara. Went to Moira via Leapogues, Edentrillick, Hillsborough, Flatfields, then a tea stop at the cafe on the Airport road. Home via Donaghcloney, Banbridge, Gall bog and then Dromara. 50 miles done at a good pace. ;Do

Yes big thanks to Deek + the rest of the guys + Lisa for looking out for us newbies + showing lots of patience! I think we need to get a few more training runs under our belt before we would be fit for the 9.30 run to be honest. I would be interested in going out on the Saturday B run occasionally as well if anyone was heading out.

No probs 'slowcoach' i suspect you wont be slowcoach for long! as someone who raced for the club a 'while' back it wont take you long to get going. Consistency is the key ....get out every week along with a few turbo sessions midweek if you cant get out at night. This is a good time to start before the pace ramps up after xmas. Marty is a great example....as Brian was saying this time last year he blew on Cattle hill and took us an hour to get him home from the Gall Bog!! Now look at him...pulling us across the Gall Bog at 24 mph...on a single speed! ;D But he still needs more clothes on ...its winter Keep at it as it will make the summer a whole lot better
