Ok, the Ulster cyclo-cross series has been going really well so far. Over 40 of our members have been taking part. But now it is our turn to host a race. The venue is Moira Park which we used for the first time last year. We put on a great race last year and I hope we can do that again this year.
In order to do that we need to fill some roles. I have detailed below what we need and when we need it. Please let me know if you can assist. I will put names etc under the club members section shortly.
2 x course set up managers 7:00 am - 9:30 6-10 Course set up crew 7:00 am - 9:30
Marshal co-ordinator 11:00 am - 2:15
7-10 marshals to cover the 11:20 - 12:30 slot 7-10 marshals to cover the 12:50 - 2:15 slot
Chief of sign on table 9:10 - 13:00 Sign on staff 2/3 9:15 - 12:50
Catering staff 10:30 - 3:00
Chief Timekeeper 10:15 - 2:15 2/3 timekeeping staff 10:30 - 2:15
Course tidyup 6-10 people 2:00 - 3:30
Photographer 10:30 - 2:00

Martin, Put me down for whatever you see fit, except for the main 'A' Cross race! As nobody else has stepped up to represent the club at this prestigious level I expect to be relieved of my duties by 12pm to warm up and Race!!

You can put me down for course set up martin, and I think it would be a good idea for anyone coming along to marshall to bring some sandwiches/cakes etc. I watched the phoenix guys and girls turning up on sunday morning and they all came with something for the catering. I would also hope to see a good turn out from everyone in the club for marshalling duties. Also if our star "A" rider sees fit I may give it another bash as I love a 177 heart avg!!!

I see fit. 180 avg this time though, you weren't even trying for the first 2 laps there on sunday, ruined your stats!

Hope to get down and help martin will let you know. Could help do whatever needs done apart from during the mtb race... I'll be busy trying to beat Gibson....

I'll be busy trying to beat Gibson.... I'd be watching Gary Bailie if I were you he's out for revenge after you passed him on the line!! Martin I'll Marshal the CX race as long as I don't have to be back at work earlier than normal.
