New to Road Cycling

Hi

Im thinking about purchasing my first road bike,

Just looking on some ideas on a half decent bike?

What sort of money would be a good starting point?

also are club week night runs mainly run through the summer?

Might be better going for second hand first before you dish out a lot of money. If you really get in to it you will most certainly want to move to something better.

Davy is right, probably best to get a second hand one from ebay/gumtree or try to borrow one for a while.David there are club runs tues night and thurs night all year round, leaving Anahilt phonebox at 6-15pm, Ballynahinch Square at 10am on a sat and Dromara at 9.30 and 10 on a Sunday.

Thanks very much for the replies, I do a bit cycling on the roads but just on a mtb, I will check out gumtree and ebay
