Registered.
I'm lending my MTB to a certain Gary Bailie to race the support race. I wonder if any other club members are willing to give this one a blast and give him a run for his money?
Hello? Davy?

Felt like I had a good race today. Got a good start and enjoyed the race. Roll on the next one.

Nice slab of jam there Gary. Fair Dues to you finishing. And Mrs Wilson too, she took a tumble first time round on the big muddy bend but got back on and powered off after a wee breather. Stern stuff!
Another superb video fritz. Adair almost took you out. Good job you hid behind that tree!
Another storming performance from Grimley. The rest and carb loading training plan really has paid off. A lot of Dromara names in there in the MTB race doing well in a strong field. Fair play to Gary Bailie finishing well up ahead of a lot of experienced Mountain bikers in his first go. That bike must be like Billy's boots?
As for my own race, had a decent start, was in the first 6-10 riders into the trees, but my arch nemesis Luke Ireland had undertaken a raft of guys on the inside with a fine bit of motocross riding. In fact, i think he was riding a motocross bike during the race as I wasn't fit to bridge the gap to him for the rest of it!
Young Montgomery from Banbridge paced me around the first 4 laps at breakneck speed, I'm getting better, last week i was only fit to be paced for 2 laps by him. Had a good tussle with a lad from UCD, he binned it on the last lap in a muddy corner, I chuckled and pushed on for a self respectable 8th place.
Very happy not to get lapped by the Dodge, even if he did bust his mech on the last lap and had to run, he can run faster than I can normally ride a bike. Happy to beat a clutch of "marked men" but sad to see my aul mucker Luke smash me to pieces. But at least he podiumed so it doesn't feel so bad.
Roll on Moira

I had a good race myself and pushed it on more than I usually would... With a result I'm happy with but intend to improve on. Top ten is the aim ... Finished 16th by just piping Gary on the line.... Sorry about that... Not. Roll on the next one....
