The final round of the club (road) league takes place tomorrow night at Begney Hill Road in the village of Dromara. ¼ mile hill climb. Afterwards we go to Square One pub to discuss how it all went wrong, make over ambitious plans for next season and congratulate the winner of this season!! He might even buy everyone a soft drink Map maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=Dromara,+Dromore,+Banbridge+BT25,+UK&daddr=Begny+Hill+Rd&hl=en&sll=54.380132,-6.015337&sspn=0.006398,0.014913&geocode=FTHFPQMdNCyk_ym_TaCRNBlhSDFBC1JpFrK2nQ%3BFZ_GPQMdHkik_w&vpsrc=0&mra=mift&mrsp=1&sz=16&z=16 Volunteers: Trevor W and John C.

No need to tell us all Gary, word has already been spread all around. With all those trial runs you'd better do well!

Well, that's it, season over. A great final night for the hill climb up Begney. Warm, dry and with a terrific tail wind. Many thanks to timekeepers Trevor and John C and to their assistants Michael and Bernie. Well done to Matt Adair, flying up! But LOOK at how close Ronnie and Gavin finished at the end !! Thank goodness for the Olympic timing from John C. Now to sort out photos and the all important final league standings!!!

That was painful last night. Never gets any easier! Thanks to the timekeepers and all the helpers on the night. Also I would like to thank everyone for another fantastic club league. Really enjoyed every night I attended, and I was glad to see some improvement in my 10 mile TT Times The road races were unreal as well , everyone has came on so well all season which had the races even harder Well done to everyone else who competed in the leage Now to put the Cervelo away and relax ready for next season. The winter training starts in 2 weeks ;D Zako, out.

That was horrible.
Well done to Richard and Nathan on two cracking times... oh and the usual suspects too. Thanks to the marshalls too, I cant imagine why John gave that one a miss?!
Oh aye and Bryce for his sympathetic chain drop (that was done in sympathy right?). I'm not sure why he was permitted a restart though? It was my assumption that you had to reinstate it by hand and finish the thing to be considered masculine at all...

after last nights strong showing by myself I have decided to retire from all hill climbs and stick to what I know best............. ie. wheelsucking Davy C ( on flat courses) until he's tired, although at the minute I couldn't even manage that!!! Many thanks to everyone who helped all year, and a big congratulations to Gavin on winning the league, he even bought a pint last night , cheers mate!!!!!

Black and white jumper found in the back of my car after the hill climb. Let me know if it is yours.
