Friday will see the end of the summer Mtb league. 10 rounds of blood, sweat and excuses. This is your last chance to gather a few points or timekeep if you have plenty of points. It looks like your best 7 out of 10 will count. Roll on the winter training under the watchful eye of team captain Van kellet.

Of all the nights to miss it's this one... Will be in Wales next week and don't get home until late Friday... Maybe could take a run out on Sunday morning for a spin. Could I be trusted keeping my own time? I wonder how many times I could drop my chain......

The Fermanagh county road race champion is giving a seminar on the benefits of hydration 2 days before a big race using alcohol based fluids. On Saturday Bryce is doing a lecture on the importance of an athletes VO2max, with physical demonstrations on how Benson and Hedges affect this important aspect of race fitness. And all weekend I myself will be illustrating the importance of sleep and getting an early night as part of the most important part of training - Recovery.
