The Oyster festival is on in Carlingford this Sun. ;D We were down last year. Guiness and Oysters..yum  . Anyone fancy it? Met Scarva 10.  |

Six of us met in Scarva, Michael, Davy, Brendan, Peter, Stephen P and me. It was pouring rain at Scarva and we thought it was going to be a non starter, but we took shelter in the coffee shop and the rain eased off a bit. Light rain on the way to Carlingford. Stopped at PJ O'Hare's for lovely chowder and wheaten bread. Some were keen to sample the oysters as they had heard they had aphrodisiac qualities but I didn't let them as we still had a long way to go to get home and I didn't want them worrying the natives or the livestock  baaaaaa!!!! Great to have Stephen out with us again and glad he enjoyed the run. That was two days in a row, as he also did the Michelin Team Bibsport run with us yesterday. |
