Great ride done by John Clyde on Thursday at woodgreen to get a 56 min 25 mile TT must be all the beetroot juice, excellent time ...a pb?? Also Bernie setting a pb the night before after taking a de tour down the motorway to achieve an early 27 min 10 TT ...Obviously she wants to go to Portrush as this is her second trip down the motorway. An even better time is expected for the next one Bernie. I grabbed a 23.41 on the same evening. This Tuesday will see the Jimmy Trainor TT run by Apollo, another chance to break more Pb's!! Also on Tuesday the next round of the UWA TT run by Kay Hacks club Bann Valley....calling all Dromara women to give this the message...get course...ends at Portrush . ;D . I broke my Pb here under the supervision Of fritz! Thursday night also offers a change of scenery to Warrenpoint, but you are probably better doing the club league because they will probably be digging the carriage way up. Not long now to the Ulster TT Champs!!

I'm trying to take a leaf out of your book Mary! So far so good. Bernie has obviously caught the bug as well. I hope we all keep improving. I haven't got a run on the Warrenpoint carriageway yet due to weather and roadworks. Fingers crossed for Thursday evening. Just a pity that a lot of these events clash with our club league.

Mary, Clydie & me went to 'the Point' for the TT tonite. John was away before they gave out the official times, he did a brillient 22.37, Mary did a short 23 despite being held up at the rounabout by a car coming thru, and I did a 25.54. It was a fast run up to Newry and straight into a headwind the whole way back. Nice evening tho and a great turnout. A wee mention to our old friend Rodney S, who had an excellent run, doing 21.18.
