Rode the time trial route on Sunday. There are roadworks with temporary traffic lights about 4 miles from Banbridge could be a problem for Thursday evening if they are still there.

Thanks Conor.
Ok folks, the race secretary has now made a judgement.
There will only be a 16 mile time trial on Thursday night.
There will be medals based on your time.
Here are the time targets you are aiming for: Gold - Under 38 minutes Silver - 38:01 - 42:00 Bronze - 42:01 - 45:00
This is roughly the same average speed as in the 25 mile run.

We need marshals and timekeepers
On the calendar there was a 10 mile TT this Thursday. The following had volunteered for it. Barry K, Gary Gi, Stephen K, Marcus M, Chris M
Given that this is now a medal winner 16 these guys may want to swap with someone else.
So we need 2 timekeepers and 3 marshals.
Names please...

Thanks to Martin, all the timekeepers and marshals tonight. Gutted not to get a gold medal but getting so close to Gavin takes the edge off the disappointment. Chris was going well before his puncture. Have to work harder to try and get the gold next year!

Thanks to all the Marshalls and time keepers, and you should see some of the empty gel packets discarded in the back of my van, on their way to Wada as we speak, I'm sure some of them are dodgy

Tough night on the bike, enjoyed it though. Before the turn I was thinking to myself 'Why do I put myself through this torture?' Thanks to the marshals and timekeepers on the night think I'll do more 16 milers to get under that coveted 45 minutes!

Big conor, ya've low iron and possibly overtraining... take a week off the bike and dose up on that back creamy recovery drink... take 3 a night for a week. Dr. Ferrari
