If the weather stays good maybe a trip to Newcastle? Route can be changed if necessary, to either go home via Leitrim or home over Slieve Croob.

Went over that Leitrim hill the other day (slievenaboley rd) killed me with only the 23t. I must do better.

Hope the weather is better than last Sunday. 'B' group 10 a.m. as usual. We can follow the same route or perhaps a juicccyyyyyy fry at the Cuan. Would have liked to try the roads between Katesbridge and Ponztpass with tea stop at Scarva but not sure of the roads. Don't want to get lost.

Disappointing turnout this morning-Me and Marty left Dromara at 9:30 and headed towards Kinallen to pick up Davy Hawthorne. Went out the Gall Bog and down Cattle Hill into Katesbridge, then headed to Castlewellan via Moneyslane, Ballyward and the Horse-shoe bend. Down into Newcastle for coffee and a bacon bap then home through Bryansford and Castlewellan then went exploring on wee back roads near Leitrim and Legananny, pure hills from Castlewellan to the top of the Rib. I'm almost sure one of the climbs hit over 15% at one stage
Fair play to Marty who rode those last load of climbs on the Langster singlespeed-needs to highlight that on Strava to get more prizes

41 mile for me, averaged 19mph to Newcastle with it lowering on the hills. Finished with a 17mph average ;D
