Brendan, Matthew Adair, Zak, Lisa and I went down for the ride out with Stephen Roche from CRC this morning. Zak got to meet Stephen and get some club kit signed (watch out for the auction)
About 40 riders including groups from Kings Moss and NDCC showed up. The route went from CRC on the Boucher Road, to Malone Rd., past House of Sport, Dunmurry, Lambeg, through Lisburn.
From Lisburn out the Antrim Rd to Glenavy, up to Dundrod, Dundrod Circuit,over Deer's Leap and back down into Belfast to CRC. Great Lattes for the boys afterwards
About 32 miles, Av. 16.2.
Lovely sunny day and a nice steady pace. We all enjoyed it and Zak got to ride alongside Stephen for 5 or 6 miles and get a good chat with him. Stephen was great and had loads of time and interest for everyone and plenty of patience for all the photo taking.
