Gutted I'll be missing this  I've too much else on this weekend unfortunately. I'll get up for a few laps next instead, but it's just not the same buzz as racing!! C'mon Dromara! Get the elbows sharpened and don't be shy!!  |

Big thanks to everyone who made today a great event. Brilliant course with some new sections making it even better  well pleased with 8th in the S3 race, never realised that I was sitting in 4th place and I am still trying to figure out who the 4 boys were who passed me!! Onwards and upwards  Well done to Mr Van Kellett on his win today, well deserved ;D |

Sounds like it went well anyway and I missed it all the crack!
Seems to have been a tough course on bikes and riders judging by what I've heard; Some people getting mechanicals or simply blowing up!
I think its fair to say without MG there wouldnt even have been a race!

Ah, What a race. Savage course. The best and hardest one going. You could smell the fear at the start line as everyone glanced toward the peaks in the distance out the corner of their eye, waiting on the whistle. I had a good wee race, managed to avoid the punctures and mechanicals a lot of people suffered. Got most of my lines and discovered new ones on my first lap thankfully. Managed to stick with Willie Mulligan and Stuart Ballantine over the first two laps until Stuart punctured. Willie had a slip up on lap 3 giving me a chance to open a wee gap. 2 and a half laps out in front not knowing how much or little time I had was tough though and I died a death on the final rise up into the field. Very happy to win the home race Dunmore is kind to me! Big thanks to all the club helpers on the day. Pete and Stevie for the lovely smell of BBQ up on the hill to drive me onto the finish line where I knew more sausages were waiting... The boys at the slab for all the encouragement... Gary bailie for the motivation after telling me how good it is to podium... MG needs (another) medal for all his efforts |

Also well done to wee zak, finally caught up with him on my last lap, but he was flying, hitting all the "pro" lines and no stalling on anything. Riding really well.

It's just that Davy was asking me I should be down at the TT on thursday night for anyone who wants to touch my lycra Good race yourself John. Its a tough course for everyone but moreso for the big men! |
