Early birds Kyle, Garry and myself set off from the Civic Centre just after 7:30am. Nice run down the tow path, over the footbridge and towards the Giant's Ring. Light drizzle to start off but soon brightened up. Exit the Ring and headed down Ronan's route back to Minnowburn. Along the river and into the trees, different entrance, lots of single track, very muddy. Some offs, mostly from me. Over the handlebars spectacularly! Exit the trees down the tow path, swing round and up through the Meadows. Then onto Shaw's for Cardiac Hill with Kyle climbing up in the big ring. Nice run through the trees, avoided the running track as there is a major reconstruction job going on and blocking the path. We still took in the BMX jumps along no-one was going for 'air' time. Exit dip and head for Lisburn with Kyle setting a tough pace on the front. He backed off eventually. Met Adrian F. All 4 then headed for Aberdelghy for a nice spin. Kyle then headed back to the Civic Centre and Garry and I went to climb a hill before heading home. Back for 10:10. Great morning. We hope to do more of these early bird ones soon.
