Anyone heading down to the race next Sunday going through Dromara that would have room for a bike, kitbag and myself?

Anyone heading down to the race next Sunday going through Dromara that would have room for a bike, kitbag and myself? I'll lift you zak if you don't get sorted. I will probabaly be going right early so I can practise getting big air on this drop and the jumps. And you may have to change a dirty nappy or two if the wife and wee one come along

Don't forget to pre-enter for this race to avoid the penalty on the day.

Super race down at Bellurgan. Course was brilliant. Improved from last year. Lots of single track. Better start climb etc. My first race as Senior 3. Had 3 laps to do. Blast off from the start line as always. Was 4th over the line on the way out to the trees staying ahead of the 70 odd other riders. Naturally this did not last too long. At least 20 went past me on the fire road climb. One day I'll sort out how to get the best start. Still waiting on the results to appear. My photos are here www.flickr.com/photos/34727847@N04/sets/72157629927865987/More photos will be up on www.ulsterxc.comLots of DCC down at this one. Max, Zak, Barry, Bryce, Ronan & James, Gibson, John S, Stephen & Brett, Nathan, Stefan.. Zak DNF'ed, Barry had another puncture but got it changed and pushed on. John, Gibson, Bryce, Ronan, Nathan and Stefan had good races in S4. Max and Brett did well. The wind would have cut you. Really cold. But nice and warm in the forest itself. A really hairy drop off for the Senior 3 riders and above. Not for the faint hearted. Many thanks to Cuchulainn for all their hard work.

Well done on the step up Martin Well done Bryce on a hugely improved ride from ballykelly a couple of weeks ago. No cramps today. Really motoring along and shouting at boys in front to get out of his way on the jumps section!
Zak hit the wall and was better off pulling out when he did. It was the sort of course that would catch you out and put you down if your mind wasn't on it. He'll be back!
Yes, another puncture. To be fair, I am running very light weight tyres, the sidewalls are very thin and that's where I punctured. I am still pulling latex sealant out of the hairs on my legs. Another reason to go all roadie and shave them?
It had sealed up by the time i got to the field, but it was way too soft to continue on it so lead mechanic, bryce, got the wheel swapped for me in the tech zone.
Motored away and caught up a lot of places before I dropped my chain on the 3rd lap (Which normally is only a momentary blip as you can pedal it back on) but somehow it had wrapped itself inside out. I must apologise to the trees and all the guys who passed me for my foul and abusive language!
I had two clean laps and my lap time for lap 4 and my other clean lap were consistent so happy enough in that respect.
Off to buy a double defense tyre for the next race.

Class course, fast with loads of jumps, berms and that drop near had me headfirst into a tree on the first lap! Thanks to Barry for the lift down, and to Bryce for doing bottle man. Definitely a big step up from under 16 to senior! This picture might do the drop some justice... Attachments:

Good days racing good course pity its on private land wouldn't mind another go on it. Only complaint for the day I'm listed as DNF but my race number finished 32nd Its not the only error on the old results sheet. Coming into the field at the end I bust myself to pass 5 riders, the last of whom put up a monumental effort, but I got it by a bike length... and he registered as a DNF. And he is a member of the organising club! I'd say we could organise a wee club day John if we contacted big Gary about it. You only looked at that drop for a minute or two, seen me go over it and away you went. I seen a lot of guys standing on it later on before the "big boys races" who couldn't get over it.
