Tonight's time trial will take place on the Annahilt circuit. Starting at the flower nursery on the Ballynahinch Road and finishing near Ronnie's house on the way into Ballynahinch. Map link maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=54.420403,-5.943732&hl=en&ll=54.420428,-5.943732&spn=0.006455,0.013711&sll=54.420403,-5.943732&sspn=0.013009,0.027423&t=m&z=16 There is limited parking at the flower nursery so leave your cars on the Riverside Road (opposite the Ballycreen Road) and cycle up. We need lots of volunteers for marshals and timekeepers for this one. Gary B and Davy Y are two I know about. Please post here if you can help out tonight. Many thanks

Martin you can put Phillip and me down for marshalling. What time would you like us to be there for?

First, many thanks to all those who came out to support this round. The timekeepers Peter and Davy, the marshals, Aaron McG, Anthony Q, Brendan, Bernie, Davy Y, Gary B, Kevin McD, Marty McA, Phillip & Roisin W, Ted, Tommy D.
Second, sorry to disappoint a number of riders but there was an error in the timesheets. The times on the night are always the UNOFFICIAL times until they are checked. Hopefully some of you did not break out the champagne.
I am waiting for confirmation but on the sheet there are start times of ...15:00, 15:30, 16:00, 16:30, 17:00, 18:30, 19:00, 19:30, 20:00, 20:30, 21:00, 21:30...
(do you see the problem???)
Sorry to be the bringer of bad news. This error will affect the times from rider 32 onwards.
Once I get confirmation I will post the corrected times.

Does this happen in all clubs....? Week 1 If a rider does a 10 mile time trial in 24 minutes according to his/her cycle computer and the timekeepers using a stopwatch, pen and paper says he/she did it in 23 minutes then said rider says nothing, smiles inwardly, wonders if his/her computer needs checked and heads home quietly. Week 2 If a rider does a 10 mile time trial in 24 minutes according to his/her cycle computer and the timekeepers using a stopwatch, pen and paper says he/she did it in 25 minutes then said rider is straight over querying the timekeeper, showing the cycle computer and making a fuss. What will help going forward is for riders to query the timekeepers in all cases. Accuracy is more important than massaging egos... ;D Amended results will be up this evening.

I get round all that by not having my own cycle computer or whatever Makes checking out the official clipboard far more exciting!

As we where marshalling last night, anthony told me that shimna tt was on tonight! Me, Anthony and paul tackled that tonight, in castlewellan on a lumpy wee course, towards maghera and then up the dundrinne road!!Some good times for the 10 miles and quite gruelling as half the course is half climbing

I've pulled together a spreadsheet of all results on the Annahilt Triangle course which hopefully you'll be able to see on the following link ... dl.dropbox.com/u/24714701/DROMARA%20TT/10TT_Annahilt_Triangle_All_Time_Results.xlsxIt seems there were some very fast times last night with the top 3 setting the 3 fastest times on the course to date. Mary also set the fastest time by a lady ... and Zak set the second fast junior time ... I'll try and keep this updated with future results and create similar for the other courses. Let me know if you spot any errors. Phil
