Ulster XC Round 1 - Ballykelly forest. When? Sunday, April 15, 2012 What Time? 9:30am until 4:00pm Where? Ballykelly Forest Round 1 of the Ulster Cross-Country Mountain Bike Series will take place on Sunday 15 April 2012 at Ballykelly Forest, Limavady (subject to Forestry approval) and will be hosted by Strabane/Lifford CC. Racing for the Under 8s up to seniors. 12 race categories in total. Sign on opens at ...09:30 Youth races start at 11 am, U14, U16 and some senior races start at 12:00. Great race by the looks of it...well done to Dianne and Ben on winning their classes....dissapointed Van Kellet didn ride S1 all the same.....

Struggled in S2 Deek and I thought you were coming anyway for the glory of S1 Its ok, Marc Potts rode the S2 race and won and then realised he had entered the wrong category so chased McKee on an extra lap If I had have thought I could get 9th at the start of the day i would have been happy enough but as it turned out I should have finished a few places higher I think. Punctured on lap 1, hit some trees along the way and generally didn't ride very well technically. Legs weren't too bad though so some positives to take!
