The format on the night will be as follows:
Round-robin races for groups of 4, so everyone gets a minimum of 3 races. Groups will be decided randomly on the night.
Group winners will go forward to knock-out stages.
Races will be 250 meters in length.
Gearing is 46 x 16 on both bikes, with matching tyres and pressure.
Pedals will be provided with adjustable velcro straps. Saddles can be adjusted to riders height. But we may not have time to get everyone sorted for a 'perfect' fit.
Prizes will be for top 3, ladies, fastest rider off the podium... and a couple of random spot prizes along the way. These will mostly be packs including bike care products, puncture kits, tyres and tubes, chains, caps and burittos (that's not a typo!).
Races start at 7.30pm prompt. We will be opening doors from 7pm.
Oh - and don't forget the Belfast Velo Jaunt will be taking place in the afternoon, from custom house square at 1pm.
