I am selling my Giant Anthem X3. It's in about as new condition as you can get and has a couple of upgrades.
In work at the minute and can't upload photos, so please see Gumtree for the photos.

Description as posted on Gumtree below:
The bike was purchased from McConvey Cycles by a friend of mine, who looked after it like a child, he rides mostly road (As do I) and keeps his bikes spotless. Unfortunately not long after getting the bike he developed a heart complaint and was urged to give up cycling. Knowing his meticulous nature and the fact the bike was used maybe only two or three times, I bought the bike from him.
I do mostly road riding, and so the Anthem has got very little use. It has been cleaned, lubricated and adjusted after every ride and is about as close to as new condition as you will find. It does have a few scratches in the paint work, but no structural dents or damage, and nothing that detracts from the look of it. The drivetrain has a very minimal amount of wear and operates perfectly. I know of no faults.
For the original brochure, see the following link:

The specification is as follows:
Size - Medium (18")
Frame - ALUXX SL-Grade Aluminum, 4" Maestro Suspension
Fork - Rockshox Tora 80-130mm travel, lockout, rebound adjust
Shock - Fox Float R
Handlebars - Race Face Next SL, carbon low rise
Stem - Exotic Carbon 80mm
Seatpost - Giant SP 30.9mm
Saddle - Selle Royal Lookin
Pedals - Not Included (Or free flats if desired)
Shifters - Shimano Deore Rapidfire
Front Mech - Shimano SLX (I assume)
Rear Mech - Shimano SLX
Brakes - Avid Juicy 3
Cassette - Shimano HG50 11/34, 9-speed
Chain - Shimano HG-73
Crankset - Shimano Deore
Wheels - Mavic XM 117 Disc
Tyres - Maxxis High Roller XC (2.35 front, 2.1 rear)
The bike has been upgraded with a carbon 80mm stem and carbon bars. These look fantastic, are very light weight and make the bike very responsive and fast. The tyres have been replaced with Maxxis High Roller XC tyres which I found give better grip than the Kenda Small Block 8 which came fitted. (I still have the Kenda tyres and these can be sold separately if you wish, or fitted in place of the Maxxis tyres).
The Tora shock is currently set at 130mm travel. This can be adjusted to either 100mm or 80mm as you desire. The spacers are included with the sale. It is generally accepted that it performs best with 130mm as it slacks the head angle slightly and gives more front travel without compromising the climbing ability.
This is a very fast bike. It was designed for XC racing and as such is a fantastic bike to ride. I climbs extremely well and is seriously nice to ride. The Anthem X gets fantastic reviews and is well known in mountain bike racing circles as a top performer. You will not be dissappointed.
I have tried to be as accurate as possible. This is a cracking bike and is a fantastic bike for the money. If you want a fast full suspension bike, this will not dissappoint you.
I haven't been able to find any in similar condition for sale and so have priced it at what I think is a fair price for one in this condition. I'm asking £899 on Gumtree...but will accept a little less from DCC members.
