Yes, Castlewellan is the final round. We have to change the categories for the Ulster championships which will be held at Craigavon. The categories will be similar to the national champs ones, Elite, Vet, Master etc. Final cats to be decided.
Are you going to the national champs next Sunday Adrian?

I can't find the text now but it said the league was the best of n-1 somewhere on the UXC site. So does the league now take into consideration all 6 races (seeing as Craigavon has been dropped) and no one race can be discarded?
Yea probably will go next week (Killruddry). Trying to get a few things booked before then so will probably sign up at the last minute.

Looking at the Ulster league table for under 16s, should I not at least get points for competing in the race? bit sly, saying as I gave my support to the race and stuck that heat

This is not the DCC league young man. This is the real world. You get points when you FINISH. DNFs get nothing. Shame really as you were going well.

Adrian, the league was originally best 6 out of 7 but as we have to use the other style categories for the champs we have to drop that round from the series. To benefit all riders who missed a round or did badly in one round we have decided to have best 5 out of 6 for the Ulster XC series 2011. Don't think it would matter for you, 5 or 6 rounds counting. I think you will be just outside the medals Just like me and most of the other DCC riders. Barry and Stephen K have a prize in the bag, we should get one for the S3 women, even Jonny C is in with a chance, Max M is also battling for top 3 (under 12s), Fraser in the Under 8s with my daughter having an outside chance of getting a prize as well.

Hehe good stuff, just curious how the rounds were working as I'm probably going to miss Castlewellan. Hopefully this time next year ill be further up that table - interested to see how the points system will work.
