Proposed route for Sunday - weather permitting - Dromara, Banbridge, Scarva, Poyntzpass, Newry, Warrenpoint, Rostrevor, Hilltown, Rathfriland, Katesbridge to Dromara. Sounds a long way but it's only 62 mile. Good cafe just outside Newry if lunch stop needed. Cheers. Hopefully c u in the mornin Smiler if I don' have too many whines the nite.  We did Scarva, Newry, the Point, Rostrevor, Hilltown, Spelga, Meelmore, Castlewellan and home today. 63 miles in glorious sunshine. Didn't make it to the hinch this mornin as Brendan was playing and didn't get in til about 3 this mornin. Take it easy on us tomorrow. Hopefully there'll be a good gang out tomorrow |

great weather there today, the sort of day to be your bike .so we did ,me deek davy robb mary declan,pete ,micheal ,rodney ,ryan and bernie when she found us just outside newry in time the climb of the day out of rostrevor over to hilltown, 4 mile up and 4 mile decent ,with the head wind every said the decent was just as hard sitting on deek wheel i never noticed it lol. home by rathfriland and the boiling well ,so about 10 mile of climbing 60 round trip dromara to dromara 16.5 avg lunch just outside newry and mary attacking every 30,enjoy the run good miles and good crack.

Nice one smiler, went out for a thirty mile run on my own this mornin' as i'm just back from Crete and haven't been on the bike for nearly three weeks. Kinallen, banbridge, blackscull, donaghcloney, ballygowan rd, hillsborough, edentrillick and then back to kinallen. A bit windy but nice susnshine. Really missed the bike when away.

Thanks to Smiler and the motley crew for a great day's cycling today when I eventually met yous in Newry. I cut off at Moneyslane and headed home via the Castlewellan Road. Ended up with 51 miles and an average of 16, pretty wrecked though as I had missed the tea stop and just stopped at McCoy's for some chocolate. Great day- now I deffo have to get my gears sorted  |
