Pre-entry has now opened for the fifth and final round of the Dromara CC Winter Trail Quests which takes place on Sunday 29 January 2012. This round will be based from the charity's home at Shimna Valley, Bryansford near Newcastle. More details on the website. www.dromaracc.co.uk |

Oh boy that was tough. Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain and more rain. With lots of wind as well. Really tough. Many thanks to Trevor for laying out and organising this, the final round of the series. Not many photos taken. Either it was too misty or too wet. Did I mention it was raining.... Great soup, sandwiches and treats back at the lodge. Many thanks to the staff at Shimna Valley. We raised a staggering £2,700 for this charity. FANTASIC EFFORT BY ALL. MANY THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!! For my own team, well done to Garry and to Oisin who took part in their first trail quest. We bailed early but not after giving it a good go. No punctures thankfully. Too much hike a bike. The legs are going to feel that tomorrow. Now to sort out the scores and the report....  |

 I can't seem to find the answer sheets for "The Spin Kings" and "Over the gate". We'll have another look for them shortly. |
