FROM CYCLING ULSTER
Apollo CT are determined to help everyone get the New Year off to a good start and help burn off excess calories. They are running a mountan bike time trial on New Year's day at Tannaghmore Gardens. Riders will have two runs with their best time to count. There will be no entry fee but Apollo would like you to throw a donation into the bucket for the Children's Hospice.
Children are welcome and there will be a small prize for each. The first rider will be off at 11.00am. There will be hot soup at the finish so get along and enjoy the start of a New Year.

John, I did this event back at the start of 2009. www.dromaracc.co.uk/news/2009_Season/Apollo_MTB_TT/ApolloMTBTT.htmIt is an easy day after any New Year celebrations. The course is short with times around the 5 minute mark. My best time was 5 minutes 25 seconds. Hope they use the same course so I can see if I have improved at all !! You can practice a few times if you like. Once you are ready you just let them know and they will slot you in. Great soup afterwards! A bit of crack to start the year. Tannaghmore is easy to find. Stick in these co-ordinates into Google maps. Sat. Nav. co-ordinates N 54.466546, W 6.374302
