Any of the 'B' group out this Sat, weather looks good. How about something different for Sunday... break out the MTB and have a run from Scarva to Oxford Is along the tow path. Missed the last T/Q so need to get my MTB legs warmed up. Don't worry if you haven't got a MTB, we won't hold it against you

There was just Raymond, Mary and me in our wee group on Saturday. We headed over to Dromore and from there to Lurgan, where we took the Gilford Road and stopped at Balydougan, good job I left the plastic at home! After the tea stop, we went on towrds Gilford and took a left which brought us across to Waringstown, we took a right at the Planters and back over onto the Dromore Road, and from Dromore back to Ballynahinch. A hilly wee day but a good one - not bad having sunshine in November, and no fog!

Seems the unseasonably warm weather is good for the winter miles, big group out, ~ gary x2, noel, stephen, deek, david, davy, neill, downpatrick boyos, ronnie, Ivan, Mass, Michael, da boss, Bruyneills mechanic, gavin headed west towards lurgan, tea stop in Moira; like I know what I am talking about- good miles 50 odd and decent average. Sweating and its November, all good. Hopefully the group will keep it together when the temp drops feels like a good training group for anyone who wants the miles - Saturdays at 10. ;D

Just Michael and myself on the MTB and Peter on the road bike at Scarva. Headed up the tow path to Rodney's fav... Oxford Is for coffee and scones. Plenty of bikes out making the best of the good weather before the big freezzzzzze starts. ;D Lovely day but quite windy at times. 30 mile round trip which is more than enough for a MTB. Can feel it in my legs to-day. Must do this again... maybe head for Newry next time.
