Another cold night. No Alan this week but Stewart did join us. Given Stewart's messed up back Dennis and I were happy to facilitate a flat, fast run instead. A Stewart friendly spin.
The Civic Centre was busy with theatre goes for Anastasia-The Musical. Dennis and I lead off heading down the path with Stewart tucked in behind us. No moon tonight. A few walkers. Over the Gilchrist bridge and just headed to Minnowburn. We avoided Belvoir and headed towards Belfast. At the Ormeau Bridge we crossed over to the other side of the river and then headed back for home. At Shaw's bridge we by-passed the route through the trees using the MTB trails and just stuck to the path. The pace was fairly brisk with Dennis driving us on. With no let up the legs were bust. It remained a dry night with moderate wind. Door to door for me was 42.35 km (26.3 miles). It was great to get out.
