Just 3 of us out tonight - Dennis, Stewart and me. Stewart was still suffering back pain from his fall in Belvoir the last time we were all out. His request was 'no hills'. We set off at a steady pace along the path. It was muddy in places after yet more flooding. Dennis was on the river side so was being very cautious. Over Gilchrist bridge but rather than take the first left heading towards Giants Ring, we went straight on an popped out at Minnowburn. Headed towards Belvoir but then cut left and over the bridge heading for Stranmillis. Dennis' idea was to do Lagan Meadows. I had remembered that LM was quite hilly but we ploughed on anyway. LM was hilly. Sorry Stewart. A nice exit down past the steps to the path. Thereafter a steady spin back to Lisburn. We met a few walkers and cyclists but otherwise a peaceful, mild evening. Great to get out. Thanks guys.
