Spelga Hill Climb

This Thursday's event was an 8 mile hill climb from Newcastle up towards Spelga Dam. This is the first time the club has run an event on this circuit. Although quite a bit away from the postcode centre of Dromara CC riders the location was a beautiful one helped by blue skies and bright sunshine. The roads were in good condition and with little traffic. We finished on the brow of the hill and in the distance there were the many cars of the Hill and Dale running community. Tea/Coffee was served in Ott Car Park.
