Proposed MTB end of season trip details:
Saturday 17th September
7:30am boat from Belfast to cairnryan. A day on the trails at one of the 7 stanes. (Kirroughtree,mabie,dalbeattie or Ae be most suitable)
Back to cairnryan for the return boat at 19:30, arriving back in Belfast at 21:45
Need to know who is interested and who can drive and how many bikes they can take. I'll drive and can take 3 bikes.
This trip is not just for the regular racers and club league riders, anyone can come along, there will be trails suitable for all abilities, various groups can head off on different trails at the likes of kirroughtree, which boasts blue, red and black graded loops. Anyone with a Mountain bike in the club should consider coming.
I would like to get a list of names of interested parties to get this booked as soon as I can.
As it is, day return per person for 3 in a car is £50 a head - depending on the confirmed numbers going - I would anticipate this cost being slightly less with the help of the club
