Rnd 17 -16/25m TT starting @ Horseshoe bend, Castlewellan

This Thursday is the 16 / 25 mile time trial on the Banbridge Road from the horseshoe bend outside Castlewellan to Banbridge.

Medals: Gold for those getting under one hour, silver for those finishing in 1 hour 5 minutes and bronze for those finishing in 1 hour 10 minutes. However, you can't get a medal of the same colour you got before!!

We'll need 2 timekeepers, 1 bike holder and 7 marshals. Apply within.

For those not TT'ing we are looking a few extra volunteers to mark the hilly route out. You get to finish at the start/finish so tea and biscuits will be available.

Apologies for the delay in getting the results up. There was no 4G from the tent in Castlewellan!

We could only run the 16 m TT tonight as we did not have enough marshals. Given the tail wind the riders would have favoured a one way to Banbridge and take the bus back!

A pleasant evening otherwise.
