The MTB Fraternity in the club are an adventurous bunch, so this year we are have planned...
Cooley's September 12th 12.00 start from Dromara.
As Our Ex Head of service described it:
This is a sociable cycle where Banter is the order of the day. We will base ourselves at Lumpers pub where there is showers,bike wash,food and a pint. The aim is to leave Lumpers about 1ish.
The pace is dictated by the slowest rider on the Ups (Bryce)
And then the slowest rider on the downs (me)
The route is dictated by our local guide for the day based on weather, ground conditions and eagerness to get back to the pub.
Everyone welcome. Even roadies.
We have had a wide range of abilities on this day before. If you have ever swung a leg over a MTB and can keep it upright, then this is for you. Wonderful open mountain terrain, no trees to hit, a few bogs to fall in.
Let me know if you intend to come along so we can organise who will drive and bike carrying arrangements.
