I and all at LLRCC would like to thank the Dromara rider who came to the assistance of my club mate, Damien Rogan, who had a crash just leaving Ballygowan, while competing in Sundays Grand Fondo. I heard the crash from the back of our bunch of about 30 riders and when I went back a good samaritan in Dromara colours had stopped to help him recover and sort his bike out, before continuing. He also cycled alongside for about a mile and enquired if he was ok on a number of times. As I was pre-occupied with what had gone before I neglected to get this guys name. If you are reading this post we would like to say a big thanks for your support and your club should be proud of your actions. It just shows how something really good can come from something bad. Damien is ok if a bit sore. He managed to finish but learned today his bike frame is cracked and the bike is only 3 mths old Once again a big thanks Niall Cochrane LLRCC

If your buddy happens to have a canyon they offer crash replacements at a reduced rate. Other manufacturers may do a similar deal.
