We already have a few members signed up to "Team DromaraCC" for the Giro
This Sunday 7th June to register here; endurancecui.active.com/event-reg/select-race?e=14192354&locale=en_gb
Select Team entry (Most are doing the 173km route)
You need a PW and it is square1
This is also capped at 4000 riders and is near full now. You might as well join in as the roads of the course will be closed to traffic on the day making it hard to get around by car or bike as only bikes with event numbers will be allowed on the roads!

Just a quick note that anyone who has joined as an individual can get it changed over to the Team by emailing the organisers @
info@granfondogiroditaliani.com and tell them you wish to be on Team "Dromara Cycling Club"

I'm signed up. Can anyone remember if we were asked to predict our average speed when we signed up? Apparently they are setting riders off in groups of similar predicted speed, so if we want to get away together & early we should be optimistic about our speed and all quote the same figure. The fastest category is "20mph +" Is there a meeting up point for the club on Sunday morning? Derek g We'll sort out a meeting place/time nearer to Sunday Derek.

Graham i wasnt asked about a potential avg speed when i registered, although i do remember this being asked when entering the BIBR last year. Maybe it will be mentioned when we are down there lifting our registration packs on Saturday Hopefully we can all leave in the same group.

Here's a map of parking and you can see across the road from Car park marked "P2" that's the Nomadic, Its a big white boat hard to miss Ohh and who's going down when on Saturday for pack collection? might be good craic to dander round the Expo together "Carb Loading" as we go!
