Meet up at Spa Lake in the layby (course map here) Please try and remember your rear light - even though the nights are brighter it makes it easier for cars to see you. MARSHALS & TIMEKEEPERS: Robert McD, Graham B, Peter B, Gavin M, Graham S, Emma J, David D RIDERS - Don't forget to find out your starting position and make sure you are in line in good time. Keep to the left hand side of the road. Use a rear light on your bike. Respect other road users. Be safe!! Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits afterwards as usual. First Rider will be off at 7pm so get there early and remember to shout your number when crossing the line.

I can help out if required. Legs still busted from Monday's torture at the hands of Magowan Bro's.

Another nice evening at Spa lake. It looked warmer than it was. Many thanks to the timekeepers Graham S, Ronnie S and Emma (thumbs up) J. Also thanks to the marshals at the turn, Raymund M, Robert McD and David D and to the photographers, Gavin and Graham B. The Duff man setting a great time, Barry seems to have improved his aero position and now sporting the golf ball hat, the young Matthews were both flying. Well done to the other junior riders Jack and Aaron and to the Douglas father and son team. Great to see Ted out again. It would be interesting to have all our riders try to do a 10 mile TT using just their arms! Impressive times from the visitors as well.

Thanks for another good evening in the club league. Special thanks to the ever present and organised Martin Grimley and the marshalls tonight.
Not sure I can catch the Currie machine but had a good go! Well done to the Duff man for the sub 24 min ride on that course!

Great event. Thanks to all the marshals and timers. Some great times posted. BK ramping up the speed. My eyes are sore. I don't think that's normal. Lol

So, how do the time handicaps add up from Round 6? As expected, especially listening to the grunting off the line, the Duff man is out to smash his average from last year. Jack is still up there. The two Matthews have improved. Barry's TT bike is improving his 10 mile TT times, Kevin has benefitted from the Mallorca training camp, Trevor's times are going well and even Paul G is improving on his times from last year!
