Hi all,
Road Marking will occur on either 06/07/08 May in the evening - the date will be decided by the day most can attend and the weather - it will be confirmed on Facebook and here closer to the time.
We need -
One car with two vols marking Dromara to tea stop and back to Quoile. One car with two vols doing the coast and into Lisbane One car with two vols doing Lisbane to Ballynahinch and home One car with two vols doing the 60 route from the Killyleagh Road to Ballynahinch
We also need paint (?) - the suggestion is we meet on the agreed night at 6.30 outside the Primrose in Ballynahinch and set out from there.
Maps are available on the Coastal section of the Club Website and there are apparently Strave links but we all know thats the devil so I won't go near it.
Please sign below if you are free on any of the above nights and the section you can take on and I will confirm back early next week allocating names to cars. Please do not mark any roads before we decide to go ahead in a co-ordinated way with agreed markings

David has kindly got us some stencils made up for marking the course this week. Chris M is getting some paint. Forecast is dry(ish) Wednesday Thursday and Friday, with more rain coming in Saturday. David and Marty are going to make a start on the outward leg (Dromara to Killough) on Wednesday evening. Thursday is the time trial, so suggest we meet Friday to mark the remainder of the course....
6.30 at Primrose? Any more volunteers other than Peter, Gary & Neill?

Hi all, just to update - given the forecast and the need to organise paint and templates can I suggest the marking occurs on Friday, hopefully we can get paint to volunteers on Thursday at the TT and agree who does what. As stated it would be best that we do this togehter on one night rather than have sections completed.
Therefore meet 6.30 on friday at the Primrose or if everyone is at the TT we can supply templates and paint then and agree the sections to be marked. leave a post if this works for all that volunteered and thanks for your time

Folks, we could do with more volunteers to help mark the route of the coastal tomorrow night. There are over 40 DCC members signed up to ride the event on Sunday, which is great, but it is disappointing that we currently only have 5 volunteers to come out and mark the route. If you can spare a few hours to help out on Friday evening between 6.30 and 9.30pm, please post below

Thanks to all the markers for taking the time to do a great job, really well done this year - Special thanks to the Bull, Davy Hawthorne for his industrial strength templates - they will be around long after we all out to pasture!
