FYI - the Downpatrick Third World Cycle is on Sunday 26 April 2015.
There is always a big turn out for this event from the club.
A super run around the south Down coast and then back to the cricket club for a great spread of food.
The family tour is approximately 10 miles from Downpatrick Cricket Club to the Villager restaurant car park in Crossgar (where light refreshments are supplied), and back. Riders can ride safely on the footpath which is great for the kids! Back at the Cricket Club, there will be more substantial refreshments to feed those aching legs! The main tour is approximately 60 miles (100 kms) long, taking in some of County Down’s spectacular scenery. The general route is Downpatrick-Clough-Castlewellan-Bryansford-Newcastle- Dundrum-Clough-Tyrella-Killough-Ardglass-Strangford-Downpatrick. Refreshments will be provided for participants at Dundrum Inner Bay lay-by and then back at Downpatrick Cricket Club.
More details to follow.
