Club League Round 3 - Lurgan Rd 2 Up

Thursday night is here again and it is 2 Up time trial on the Lurgan Road. For those that dont have a partner feel free to ask here or just appear and we can get you sorted.

We need at least 6 marshals to run this race so please stick your name below if you can marshal

Also next week we are also short of Marshal's. Please use the marshal form if you would like to marshal any other races/TT's

This is the first of 3 rounds of the 2 Up TT championships. There is a prize for fastest Male 2 Up Pairing and a prize for fastest Mixed/Female 2 Up Pairing taking in your best 2 out of 3 rounds.

A cool but bright evening at the Lurgan Road. We welcome the Boomers out on their first TT with the club as well as Aaron Watson. Fastest on the night was ex-club member Davy McKnight. The Magowans were caught up in traffic, the Matthews were keeping the pressure on the old guys, ex-club man Fritz (half the man he was before!) set a great time, Zak teamed up with long distance man Michael Cassidy to finish 3rd DCC quickest. A big showing of females at this one - Ruth, Roisin, Lisa, Martina, Emma, Jackie, Therese, Bernie. Many thanks to the timekeepers - John S and Tommy D, timekeeper's assistant Johnny McB, (Graham B who helped out then rode!), marshals - Ronnie S, Bryce H, Davy B and Mike B. There were plenty of spectators down as well. Many thanks to the Millar kids for looking after the teas and coffees afterwards. Best of luck to the ones heading off to Mallorca this weekend.



The evening did have a sad note when we learned that Gary B's new wife is terminally ill. Our thoughts go out to the family at this time.
