After a great turn out from last week I am sure there will be plenty ready for this weeks Hill Climb. The good news is that it is a more gradual climb although it will hurt the legs just as much. The course can be found hereThere is not too many places to park so again stick with Kinallen and ride down or try at the top of the hill. Would anyone like to help out with the time keeping? First rider should be off at 7pm. I won't be there so hoping someone would send me a report or put it on here for the web site.

A beautiful September evening with warm temperatures (20 o) and hazy sunshine. The Diamond Road was relatively quiet. Just 13 taking on the Diamond hill this year, around the same number as last year. The fastest time on the night was from our adopted son Lindsay who topped out at 1:36.64 A VERY close finish between Zak and Gavin with just 0.2 of a second between them. We need to get a proper Ski Sunday style start gate with electronic eye at the finish line if we are going to have more of these sub 1 second differences. Zak set a time 7 seconds faster than the one he did on the hill last year. Ronnie, who initially wasn't up for it, did a great run to beat his time last year. Graham S continues to improve as he seeks to get ready for the cross season ahead. Matthew G on great form, taking hills in his stride The rest of the riders finished after the 2 minute mark with Robert McD just over. Well done to Jack F who continues to turn up with a huge smile on his face. Lisa did the run on her single speed. No jumping gear issues for her. Well done to Trevor B, Noel G, Sean S and Paul M. Suckers for punishment. A quick cuppa and then home before 8pm.
