Hit belvoir today with Colin Roy what a day all that road stuff TTs etc over the summer great fun almost forgot how good Belvoir is. Started out late due to shopping and a bit of hangover about 3.oo under heavy rain clouds down the towpath and through Lady Ds. Did most of our usual run Barrnetts Giants ring etc. Mud everywhere front wheel back wheel sliding on the usual tree roots came off on a Sharp climb whacked the back of my head on the ground and nearly got a broken branch up my . Stopped for a drink before the climb through Barrnetts then a quick downhill and then past Shaw's bridge to Belvoir. The mud was thick and deep on the climb up past the log then we hit the berms, some nice people have done a bit of wrecking so be careful if you go on them. did a bit more round Belvoir and then headed back, up the cramper and then down the log run by this time my ankle was killing me [ five aside injury ] so we turned for home up the towpath. What a day BRILLIANT,Adrian says Belvoir is to wet sorry mate this is the best time cant wait till next Sunday. If anyone wants to come along give me or Colin a shout. Mud nettles brambles flies what more could a 50 year old ask for. No tights Martin cuts and stings everywhere Love it. MTB rules ;D
