Giant's Causeway Coast Sportive

I went on the Causeway run ,Sat. Did the 80 mile run, saw Saintdavy on the way round, he was doing the big run. good on him

It was a nice day on till about 2 when it started to rain and i mean rain.
.
The food was not great, just cake, bananas, and water at the stops, no hot drinks, there was pasta at the end, which i could have done with about 2 hours earlier.

The last 15 miles of the ride was very tough, i rode over Torr head but
some of the hills after that went straight up, at least i thought they did, so i got of and walked up,which was dot easy either.

All in all it was good day out,and back in one piece

Another hard day in the saddle. Would put this run on a par with our on Sportive. Seen Rayme on one of the climbs around the Glens, blasted past me as I struggled to keep going. Windy and wet at times but scenery was fab. 113 miles, 8hrs 27mins ride time and a sore bum to boot.
