Great riding from all the boys.ronnie and myself tried to get away but wasn't happening so it came down to looking after Gavin for the sprint.for graham to put a performance like that in on his first a2/3 race shows he's one to watch and also great to have another person who can ride in the team and do his job.we knew where we needed to get Gavin to and from there he finished the job off.he really showed his class today and when he turns it on there really is nobody can get close to him.a man that just keeps surprising me is mr Stevey Wallace.we all know Stevey is quick but to be mixing with the company he is now and to be finishing with them in these races is fabulous.goes to show age means nothing when uve got it uve got it.not sure about over 50,s /women and a4 boys, hopefully some of them can let us know how they went.

Myself, Tommy, Ivan, Johnny, Ryan m and Trevor turned up for the A4 race. We didn't get off to a great start as Ivan didn't get clipped in in time for the start, which went off like rocket as usual! Ivan spent the 1st lap chasing the group hard, but that was always going to be virtually impossible due to the headwind on the back of the circuit. I was sitting in feeling very comfortable hoping to get to the sprint at the finish, alas an unswept corner put an end to that one, hit half a ton of gravel and went down hard . Race over! Tommy was riding strong the whole race , even posing for photos from the front! Trevor had always intended to race 4 laps and give the hill a miss. Johnny cramped up near the finish and not sure about Ryan. No disrespect to the organisers but that first corner was very badly marshalled, with only one person manning it, from a safety point of view it was actually quite dangerous. A number of riders from other clubs also expressed the same point, ie. There was no one to stop traffic from the left coming up to the junction, as a spectator I watched a few near misses with cars coming up to the junction and the group coming around the corner! !! A great spread afterwards as always, but coming over to a corner with a brush and shovel after a rider has fallen is just not good enough I'm afraid.

Hope there isn't much damage? Great work from the DCC Team. Good job you managed to finish it off Gavin!
